Chris & Amy
I am thrilled to announce Chris & Amy’s wedding. These two have known each other for 13 years! They have been together for 6 ½ years. It will be 7 years in December. I first photographed them at there engagement session at UCLA, If you haven’t had a chance to check out there engagement shoot here’s a link go check it out now before you continue to there wedding in Los Angeles! Here’s how they met: “We met at church in Canoga Park when we were 12-years-old. Chris always liked me but back then I saw him as a good friend. However, I remember thinking that whoever ended up with Chris would be a very lucky girl. I would talk about this with my best friend but I never would have imagined being the one to marry him.”
As for the proposal, “We celebrate Christmas on the 24th and last year we decided to do Secret Santa for the first time with my family. Chris was the last to open his gift. He and my cousin had planned things out and his gift was from her. After opening up his gift he read a letter that she had written to him. In the end it said something about “being excited to finally officially make him part of the family.” After reading this, he pulled out the ring, got on his knee, and asked me to marry him. My whole family was there which was a lot of fun and exciting since I’m really close to all of them. My uncle and grandpa’s reactions were priceless so it was a lot of fun!”
The wedding was truly special. From the family giving their speeches to all the dedication presentations from love ounces. One of my favorite things of the night was when Chris sang a song and dedicated to Amy.
